For its latest release, RJ Living has turned its attention to materiality, revisiting a number of its best-known designs through upholstery, timber, stone and concrete.
Alongside them sits a selection of new pieces for living, dining, bedroom and entertaining spaces, so there’s something for every part of your home.
The forms themselves remain familiar, with the change coming through colour, texture, tone and finish. That gives you a broader palette to draw from in each room and more scope to layer pieces together, while holding onto the warmth that runs through the range and keeping it distinctly RJ Living.
In upholstery, Berg now comes in Fleck Ginger, an earthy, subtle orange with a flecked texture that creates depth and tonal variation. It’s been designed to pair with Oak, Deep Oak and warm stone finishes, so you can introduce colour to a room without losing its warmth.
If you’re drawn to darker, moodier interiors, look to the new stone and timber finishes. The Check design is now available in Espresso Marble, a deep colourway with a grounded feel. Deep Oak takes several familiar pieces in a similar direction, and on the Henri Dining Chair, the darker timber gives the silhouette a richer presence.
Outdoors, new pieces and finishes arrive ahead of the warmer summer months, including Terraza in Pimento, a new concrete shape in a saturated, warm colourway that keeps the architectural quality of the material while bringing a strong note of colour to your outdoor space.
‘One of the things I’m most excited about is seeing our most-loved collections evolve,’ he says. ‘New formats, expressive finishes, fresh upholstery and richer materials give customers more ways to create cohesive, layered interiors with pieces designed to last,’ says Samuel Clarke, head of product at RJ Living.
The new finishes and colourways are designed to work with existing pieces across the wider RJ Living range, so a new fabric or stone finish can slot easily into a room that’s already been furnished. A mindful, gradual way to update a home, one piece at a time.
